Troy and I are heading over to Portland for the weekend...I am sooo excited! My dear friend Marie lives there and I can't wait to see her and her family. We have never been to Portland before and have a whole list of things we want to do and see. The list is getting a little long though...looks like we'll have to make a trip back soon! Maybe this fall? Well, anyway...we are not heat lovers. We moved to Idaho wanting to escape the dry, windy, hot days of summer in the desert of CA. We enjoy summer days that are in the 80's and 90's not the constant blistering 100 plus degree days of where we came from. And for the most part Idaho has supplied those enjoyable summer days for us. Our highest temp this summer was back in May at 95 degrees. But the forcast is showing that we will get our first 100 degree days this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday will cool off a little and that is when we will be heading back home. Whew! Looks like we planned our trip out of here just in time!!!
