I got all this for 6 cents!

Well ladies...spring cleaning is just around the corner. Are you ready???

Friends...

I love these girls!
Love to laugh with them, have coffee/lunch with them, walk with them, cry with them, take turns picking up the kids with them and celebrating birthdays with them. What would we do without friends?!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today we honor an amazing man - a man with vision, faith, and courage. A man who was able to see beyond his present circumstances and into a future full of promise. I hope we will all take the time today in our own way to remember Martin Luther King, Jr. and pray for the continual healing of interracial relationships in our country.

More Christmas

Well, just like with my scrapbook...I am also behind on my blogging. But that's ok...right??? I'll just continue using the first half of January as my time to catch up up on what else we did during the Christmas season.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chase added a camel to his Nativity set. His Godfather, Ken, gives him a new piece each year.
Heading home after sledding on the hill in our neighborhood.
Building a snow fort in the neighbors yard.
My friend, Elaine, and I went to the Farmer's market to buy a Christmas tree for a family that was going to go without one this year. It was so fun for us to be Santa's sneaky lil' elves and to make the secret delivery.
Cookie exchanges, friends and wine...how much better can it get!
I built a snowman with Tanner and we dressed him in Sawtooth Sabercat gear!
Went to look at Christmas lights with mom and dad.
Made my grandma's almond coffee cake recipe in my Great Aunts yellow bowl. A very important tradition every Christmas Eve.
Cookie baking with Oma.
Games, games and more games!
A visit with Santa for Tanner.
Peppermint Bark
When my mom comes for a visit the boys love to make yummy things in the kitchen with her. Tanner was really looking forward to making some peppermint bark...I don't think she even had a chance to unpack before he got Oma busy in the kitchen!
Congratulating each other on a job well done!
