A visit from a dear friend...

My lifelong friend, Caprice, came to visit us this past weekend. We had such a WONDERFUL time hanging out with her!
Tanner could hardly wait for his Godmother to arrive!

He waited by the front window for her to pull up to our house after her 13 hour drive up from California. He also wanted to welcome her into our home by creating this simple message on our kitchen chalk board.

The boys felt that the perfect dinner that evening would be pizza followed up with some ice cream from Coldstone's and a walk along the river. I am sure that Caprice was exhausted from the long drive, but she was a good sport and watched the boys skip rocks into the river.

Saturday morning we set off to the Capitol City Public Market in downtown Boise.
We found all kinds of goodies.

Even enjoyed a little bagpipe music...
while watching a potter create some gorgeous vases...
It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning!
