Good times with special people

I posted a couple weeks ago about our trip down to Southern California. I enjoyed my visit with friends and our annual Pasadena Showcase House tour, but got so busy that I forgot to let you know what else we did that weekend. We visited with so many friends that weekend and had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures most of the time...sorry! And if you're wondering where Troy is in most of these pictures...well, he was with his bunch of racing buddies at the drag strip in Fontana, Ca . He had a blast! He got to visit with all his old friends doing what they love best!

The Curtis Family means so much to us. It is always a blessing to spend time with them! Rick was preaching at one of his churches in Leona Valley so we were sure not to miss that. He is an awesome Pastor and we love the way he speaks. Afterward we enjoyed lunch together.

The boys also had their first swim of the season...

It was so wonderful seeing my parents, staying in their home and just doing all the little day to day things together...

Dear friends from our old neighborhood....we miss you so much! These were some of the first people we visited with when we got to town after our 13 hour drive. They opened their homes to us and we all caught up with what has been going on in each others lives. We arrived in town at 7pm and didn't even get to my parents home till midnight! The kids had fun playing while the parents chatted and lost track of time...
