Caprice was leaving on Monday morning so we needed to squeeze one more sightseeing adventure in before she left. We went to church in the morning and then headed off to Idaho City. It is only about an hour away and we've been there to go sledding in the winter, but have never been in town. What a beautiful drive! The town is a quaint old gold mining town with lots of history and "interesting" buildings, which you will see in the photos... We enjoyed lunch and conversation with the locals here at Calamity Janes. What a great little cafe. Caprice and the boys enjoying some ice cream... I just loved this old church up on the hill...
