Well, we filled the garden up with veggies! We each chose our favorites... Onions...
Chase planted three kinds of hot peppers...
Troy chose artichokes and honeydew melon...
I chose three tomato plants and a yellow, orange and green pepper plant...
We bought the veggie plants that are sold in the peat pots so that there would be no waste and we are kinder to our earth.
Tanner chose a watermelon and a pumpkin to plant...
We planted our tomatoes and peppers a little early for this area so please wish us luck with our first garden! We will keep you updated on how it matures. Oh, yea... we also have a hanging strawberry plant. We have already harvested a handful of those yummy red beauties!
Nice work! We are planting outside this weekend! We should be out of the frost danger! Last frost for our area is typically May 10th! We were 1 day late this year...it got down to 27 on Monday night...did your plants do ok? I hope so!
