The Discovery Center is a "hands on" type of museum for kids....so fun!!! What a great place for a 3rd grade field trip!

This is the group of children I was in charge of...these are some terrific kids
!
Lunch in the park.

Even the geese joined us...

Then off for some fun...

How fun! :)
Great photos, Lind Family! I took my children to the discovery center and we had a BLAST as well! My boys were obsessed with the Bed of Nails. A few days later we saw science guy Steve Spangler have Ellen Degeneres lay on one! I quickly Tivo'd it for the kids to see and then we went on his website to find out more about it. We found a similar experiment that the boys are in the process of recreating. I thought, perhaps, your family might like to try it too. Here is the link: http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiment/bed-of-nails1 Best of Luck!
