A pillow and a painting

My sweet son learned to sew with his Oma this summer. He had such a great time. This is what he made for me...and to think he picked out the red and cream toile fabric all on his own...I love toile! Thank you...I love you T!!!
I picked up this oil painting at a great shop we have here called Graples. I loved it for the colors, but love it even more because the artist is from California and now lives here in Boise, Idaho. As soon as I saw the painting I knew that it would be perfect in our home, I just couldn't figure out where to hang it. But while taking the picture of it, it dawned on me. Hang it over the chair (with my beautiful new pillow) in the corner of our office and call it a reading nook!
My new reading nook! I LOVE IT!
