Sunday evening we took a candlelight tour of downtown Boise's historic houses of Worship. There were nine total, but this year we only got to three of them. All I have to say is WOW! I have never seen more beautiful architecture!
We were able to spend my mom's birthday with her again this year! Doesn't she look great!!! The two of us went to Miss Tami's Tea Cottage the day before to start the celebrating early. After a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden and looking at some beautiful Christmas light displays we came home for mom to open gifts, eat birthday treats, and receive love and hugs from the boys... We all love you so much Mom!!!
Tanner ready with his teacher and bus driver gifts... The last day of school before Christmas break is always fun! At the middle school they took a vote from the students on which teachers they would like to see dressed as elves for the Christmas assembly. This years theme was from the movie ELF. The teachers had to go through obstacle courses, sing karaoke and even eat a plate full of spaghetti covered with Pop Tarts, candy and syrup!!!! Chase here playing the drum part of the song from A Charlie Brown Christmas... Tanner's class had a fun day too. They watched the movie, Polar Express, had a gift exchange and munched on all kinds of goodies! Chase had his band concert and both Troy's dad and my parents were able to be there from California!
On Saturday night we went over to our friends, Pam and Brian, house for dinner and then out driving around Boise to look at Christmas lights. Boy did we find some great houses!
Pam and Brian Thanks so much guys...you always know all the cool places to go!
So, after looking at a home with one of the most amazing light displays this is what we saw on their neighbors house! Troy REALLY liked this one!!!
